A Creepy World of Waxwork Wonders

With Carnesky’s Ghost Train now permanently installed at Blackpool, Marisa Carnesky brings a new work, Dystopian Wonders, to the Roundhouse in London, and then to Manchester.   A morbid show-woman and a sinister preacher invite you to their bizarre exhibition of curious nameless bodies. Be wary how close you get to the exhibits and indeed the proprietors, for both have dangerous implications!

Delving into the strange worlds of waxworks and religious cults, creator of Carneskys Ghost Train Marisa Carnesky twists further the worlds of the sideshow and stage illusionist.  This piece is in collaboration with Rasp Thorne, visual artists from the Insect Circus, plus various circus performers, and is Part One in a projected seven-part series.
